Searching for Gear

Searching for Gear

1. Search by location

Most users like to search by location first to find gear close by. In the search box on the home page or at the top of the listings page, type in the Country, State, City, Suburb or Zip/Postal code where you want to find gear. If you are looking for a city with a common name you may need to add the state/province or country to the search. Gear will then be displayed in order of distance from your chosen location. You can then filter the results using the filter tabs on the side or top of the page.

2. Search via clickable map

If you prefer more of a visual approach, search via a clickable map by selecting ‘Map’ from the listing section. From here you can view a map displaying the location of different gear with a pin. You can view the gear by clicking on the individual pins. The filter tabs can also be used in this section to reduce the amount of options displayed.

3. Search individual users

If you already know an Owner with gear that you like, you can browse their other listings by clicking into the Owners’ profile from the listings page. All of the Owner’s listings will be displayed from their profile in addition to their feedback and ratings from other users.

Still can’t find any gear?

Here are a few things that could be happening:

1.We might not have gear listed in your search area yet.

2. Try zooming in and out and scanning around. Sometimes gear can just be on the edge or outside of the map area on your screen.

3. Try clearing filters. Filters from an old search may still be applied and are preventing rides from showing up through your search.

If all else fails, send us an email. We’re constantly in discussions with new Owners and Stores as we develop our community. Chances are we might know someone in your area and can put you in touch with them!
