Bicycle South Australia

Bicycle SA advocates on behalf of recreational, commuter and touring cyclists throughout South Australia. We support cycling for recreation, for transport, health and the environment, as well as travel and fun.

Our work this year will see 8,000 primary school children across the state taught to ride safely, we will deliver multiple one-day community rides and multi-day tours, ongoing investments in mountain biking as well as representing the interests of our 6,000 members.

Bike SA and Quipmo announce partnership to get more people cycling in South Australia!

Bike SA and Quipmo are going to get more people cycling in South Australia! Whether it’s offering high performance road bikes for people travelling on business, downhill bikes to explore SA’s trails, families chasing bikes for the kids whilst on holidays or whether it’s giving access to the latest gear releases through demonstration models – this partnership will get more people riding and more people passionate about cycling in South Australia!

“Peer to Peer applications are now a way of life and we see our partnership with Quipmo as a great alternative in delivering quick and easy access to a bike for those that want to get out for a ride, whether they be a local or visitor to SA. Quipmo is a great way to earn a little extra cash by renting out that bike when it’s not being used and of course, this applies to our local bike shops as well. Quipmo is a great way to “Try before you Buy” on the ever-expanding range of new bicycle products and technology.” said Christian Haag – CEO of Bike SA.

Quipmo’s founder and CEO Chris Evans said: “We are over the moon to be partnering with Bike SA and can’t wait to substantially change bike rental access across South Australia! Working with a highly innovative and sector leading organisation who are at the very forefront of cycling advocacy and community leadership is truly exciting and we believe that this partnership has the potential to bring the whole community together through the share economy and cycling.”
